The Afghanistan Breshna Sherkat announced the imported 220 KW power line in Chishme Shir area of Baghlan is cut off, due to security concerns.
The company stated in a post Monday night, imported power line from Tajikistan is affected by ongoing war in the region.
According to Breshna, the company’s technical teams are trying to reconnect the affected lines, as the security situation has improved.
This, however, is not the first time local residents suffer long term blackouts, as battles between Afghan security forces intensified against the oppositions.
