The Public Health department in Herat province says at least 22 new cases of the coronavirus have been registered in the province during the last 24 hours.

The spokesman of Herat Public Health Department, Muhammad Rafiq Sherzai said that 72 samples of the coronavirus were tested in the laboratory which 22 of them confirmed positive.

According to him, the new cases include 16 men and 6 women.
It is noteworthy that with the registration of the new cases, the total number of confirmed cases of coronavirus in the province reached 935 with 22 death toll and 175 recovered patients.
Sherzai added that the condition of 7 coronavirus patients are critical.
