The Taliban group reacted to the attack in West of Kabul city which apparently targeted a hospital in Dasht-e Barchi area of the city.

“Attack in Dashti Barchi area of #Kabul city has no relation with the Mujahidin of Islamic Emirate,” Taliban spokesperson Zabiullah Mujahid said.

The local residents and eyewitnesses said they heard the sounds of two explosions close to the hospital in Dasht-e Barchi area, in the 13th district of the city.

According to the eyewitnesses, the sounds of gunfire could still be heard from the site of the explosion.

No individual or group has so far claimed responsibility for the attack.
