The Ministry of Public Health (MoPH) says at least 68 new cases of the coronavirus have been registered in the country during the past 24 hours.

MoPH officials said that the new cases include 13 cases in Ghazni, 11 in Paktia, 9 in Paktika, 8 in Balkh, 6 in Badghis, 6 in Kabul, 4 in Nangarhar, 4 in Herat, 3 in Laghman, 3 in Khost and one in Baghlan province.

This comes as with the registration of the new cases, the number of people infected with the coronavirus in the country reaches 1531 with 207 patients recovered and 50 death toll.
