Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs, Mohammad Haneef Atmar met with the Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan to Kabul, Zahed Nasrullah Khan, the other day.

According to media report, during the meeting, Pakistani Ambassador conveyed congratulatory message of Pakistani Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi to Minister Atmar with regard to his designation as Minister of Foreign Affairs and wished him success.
Both sides also discussed issues of mutual interest, primarily matters related to Afghan refugees, especially those affected by the outbreak of Corona virus, the Afghan students accommodated with hostels and keeping the Torkham, Chaman crossings open and the upcoming APAPPS meeting.
