Top commander of Taliban group along with his seven men were killed during clashes with Afghan security forces in northern Jawzjan province.
Mullah Abdul Rahman the leader of Taliban “Red Unit” have targeted by Afghan security forces in Mardeyan district of the province.
Shaheen army corps in the north of the country by releasing a statement reported that Mullah Abdul Rahman along with his seven men were killed and five more rebels were wounded following the attacks.
There were no casualties on parts of civilians and Afghan security forces at the end of the conflicts, the statement added.
According to another report, Afghan national police personnel by discovering and confiscating 10 rounds of different type of mines succeeded to prevent several bloodiest incident in crowded areas of Jawzjan province.
Taliban fighters are responsible for the foiled min planting, security off icials said.
