The Special Forces killed 26 Taliban militants during the operations in three provinces in the past 24 hours, the military officials said.
The officials further added that the Special Forces killed 12 Taliban militants during a raid in Kunduz city of northern Kunduz province.
The Special Forces also destroyed a small cache of weapons during the same operation.
In a separate operation the Special Forces killed 11 Taliban militants and destroyed a small cache of weapons during a raid in Alingar district of Laghman, the officials said, adding that the Special Forces killed 3 Taliban militants in another raid in Alisheng district of the province.
The Special Forces also destroyed a small cache of weapons in Alisheng and a separate weapons cache in Sayyid Karam district of Paktiya, the officials said.
The Taliban group has not commented regarding the operations so far.
