Adib Fahim announced his resignation from first deputyship of Afghanistan's intelligence agency National Directorate of Security.
Fahim had been serving in the post for the last four years. In his resignation letter, Adib said that he resigned from the post due to “personal reasons.”
President Ashraf Ghani accepted his resignation, according to the letter released by Fahim.
Adib said that as a member of Afghanistan’s new generation, he was committed to “realizing supreme desires of my nation and state.”
