The ‘State Builder’ team of incumbent President Ashraf Ghani has called on other electoral teams to stop making irresponsible comments without any evidences.

The political committee of the State Builder team says the other teams should cooperate with election commissions in accordance with the principles to ensure the transparency.

The committee in a statement on Saturday night stated that the Afghan people are waiting for the results of the Presidential election.

The statement said that the unannounced delay of the election results leaves the country in a confusion condition, and this vague situation directly and indirectly damages the country’s economy and the peace process.

President Ghani’s team emphasized that the election commission should announce the primary results on Nov 14 and the delay in the primary results again will have no legal justification.

This comes as yesterday the “Stability and Partnership” electoral team boycotted the recounting process of election votes.
