The provincial government released several photos taken in the aftermath of a raid against a hideout of the Al-Qaeda terrorist network in southern Helmand province.
The governor’s office of Helmand said in a statement that the security forces killed 22 terrorists during the raid including many Al-Qaeda operatives and foreign terrorists hailing from Pakistan and Bangladesh.
The statement further added that the security forces also arrested 14 terrorists during the same operation which they conducted in Musa Qala district.
Furthermore, the governor’s office said the security forces confiscated many weapons, suicide bombings, explosives, night vision binoculars, foreign currencies, vehicles and computers during the operation.
