Local officials confirmed that a deputy leader of IS-K Khorasan branch has been arrested in Herat province.

“The IS-K Khorasan branch deputy has been arrested by National Directorate of Security forces”, Jailani Farhad, provincial spokesperson told MEDIA on Wednesday.
Mr. Jailani Farhad said that the detainee came to Herat from from Nangarhar province.
He further noted that the deputy leader was arrested during last week.
