The security forces killed at least 28 Taliban militants including the shadow chief of the group for South-eastern Ghazni province.
The Governor’s Office of Ghazni in a statement said Wednesday that the security forces conducted operations and airstrikes in Nogha, Mangor and Qarabaghi areas of Ghazni city, Tasang area of Deh Yak district and Baharagi area of Qarabagh district.
The statement further added that the security forces killed 28 militants including Noor Mohammad alias Abu Hazifa, the shadow economic chief of Taliban for Ghazni.
Furthermore, the Governor’s Office said the security forces also wounded 13 militants during the operations and destroyed 4 motorcycles, a vehicle and two explosives depots of Taliban.
Meanwhile, the security forces are engaged in clearance operations in Mangoor and Qarabaghi areas of Ghazni, the statement added.
