An unmanned aerial vehicle of the coalition forces has crashed in Ghor province of Afghanistan.
The military officials confirmed that the drone crashed due to mechanical failure.
The officials further added “No enemy fire was in the area. We caution everyone not to approach the crash site for their own safety.”
The coalition forces extensively use unmanned aerial vehicles in Afghanistan for surveillance purposes.
The U.S. forces in Afghanistan also use the unmanned aerial vehicles to conduct counter-terrorism operations in the restive parts of the country.
