Afghanistan defeated Pakistan by 26 runs in the Physical Disability World Cricket Series in England on Tuesday.
Put in to batting by Pakistan who won the toss, Afghanistan posted 142-5 in the mandated 16 overs.
Ahmadullah Ahmadzai scored 60 off 36 balls while Jamil Shah Mandozai struck 47 off 37 balls.
In reply, Pakistan made 116 as they lost nine wickets playing all 16 overs. Hasnain Alam’s 35 was their highest individual score.
Shirin Agha claimed four wickets for Afghanistan while Zubair Zadran picked up two.
It was Afghanistan’s second consecutive win in the tournament. Earlier, they defeated Bangladesh by eight wickets in the opener.
Afghanistan will next take on hosts England on Wednesday.
