Delegates from Afghanistan left Kabul for Qatar on Saturday to attend a two-day intra-Afghan dialogue conference involving Taliban, which is scheduled to begin tomorrow (Sunday).
Deputies of High Peace Council, Ata-ur-Rahman Saleem and Din Mohammad, Matin Baig, Hekmat Khalil Karzai, Habiba Sarabi, Anarkali Hunaryar, Abdul Salam Zaeef, Shah Gul Rezayee, Zainab Moahid, Laila Jafari, Aminuddin Muzafari, Abdullah Qarluq, Jamaluddin Badr, Muhiuddin Mahdi, Sediqullah Tawhii, Saleh Mohammad Saljoqi, Sardar Nadir Naeem, Ghairat Baheer, Fawzia Koofi, Ranig Dadfar Spanta, Hamid Gelani, Mansoor Nadei, Irshad Ahmadi and Omar Zakhilwal are among those who left for the meeting.
HPC’s Saleem told 1TV that those who were travelling with him were intelligent, well-informed and elites.
He hoped that the conference will open way for direct negotiations between the Afghan government and Taliban
