Firmino and Jesus combine twice to beat Argentina 2-0, reach first Copa America final since 2007
Brazil defeated their rivals Argentina 2-0 late Tuesday to reach the Copa America final.
Premier League opponents Gabriel Jesus and Roberto Firmino combined to strike twice against Lionel Messi and company to advance to their first Copa America final since 2007.
Manchester City striker Jesus gave Brazil the lead in the 19th minute as he struck from close range to Firmino's low cross.
In the 71st minute, Firmino sealed the deal for his country as he comfortably finished after a great run and assist by Jesus.
Argentina was unlucky during the match as both Sergio Aguero and Messi's shots were denied by the woodwork in each half.
Brazil will meet Chile or Peru in Sunday's final in Rio de Janeiro.
