Mohammed bin Ahmed Al Bowardi, UAE Minister of State for Defence Affairs, received this morning Assadullah Khalid, Acting Defence Minister of Afghanistan, as part of IDEX 2019.

AVA- The meeting, which was also attended by Mattar Salem Ali Al Dhaheri, Under-Secretary of the Ministry of Defence, touched on cooperation relations between UAE and Afghanistan and ways to further develop them in the defence field.
The parties also exchanged views on a number of issues of common concern.
The meeting was attended by senior officials of the Ministry of Defence and the delegation accompanying the Afghan Minister.
