The Ministry of Interior (MoI) has announced that the police forces have thwarted a deadly suicide attack plot in Kabul city.

AVA- According to a statement released by the Ministry of Interior, the Logar police forces arrested a would-be suicide bomber and confiscated a vehicle-borne improvised explosive device during an operation which was conducted at 11:00 pm local time.
The statement further added that the would-be suicide bomber was on his way to Kabul but was stopped and arrested in the vicinity of Logar province before he manages to reach Kabul city.
The Ministry of also added that the suicide bomber was looking to carry out an attack in Kabul city.
The main target of the bomber has not been ascertained so far but the Logar security officials are saying that an investigation is underway in this regard.
The anti-government armed militants including Taliban have not commented regarding the detention of the would-be suicide bomber so far.
