A huge fire erupted on Sunday morning and burnt several shops in a packed Kabul market also known as Mandavi bazaar in capital Kabul.

Naqibullah, a shoes shopkeeper, told Pajhwok Afghan News the fire erupted at 6:30am but the reason behind the fire was yet to be known.
The fire quickly spread to nearby markets of Milad, Dawee and Raihan, he said, adding firefighters have arrived in the site of fire and tried to overcome it.
Dry fruits, shoes and clothes were being sold in the markets where the fire erupted.
