Four police were killed after their colleague opened fire in Afghanistan's southern Kandahar province last night, a source said Wednesday.

The provincial governor’s office in a statement confirmed death of two policemen in the attack which happened at a security post in Mushan village of Panjwayee district.
The statement said that the victims had been recruited around two months ago. One police was injured in the firing, it said.
The attacker fled the area after seizing weapons, the source told 1TV.
Taliban said that the attack was carried out by its infiltrator.
