As part of Afghanistan’s regional engagement on peace and security, the National Security Advisor Hamdullah Mohib met with his UAE counterpart Sheikh Tahnoon in Abu Dhabi and the U.S. special envoy for peace Zalmay Khalilzadin the United Arab Emirates.
AVA- A statement from the National Security Council said on Monday that Dr. Mohib held talks with his UAE counterpart in Abu Dhabi before departing for Saudi Arabia.
The meeting focused on Afghan-led and Afghan-owned peace process and joint fight against terrorism.
On the conclusion of his trip to China, the NSA travelled to Saudi Arabia for discussions on the Afghan peace talks and bilateral cooperation between Kabul and Riyadh.
