A number of people took to the streets before dawn in Kabul on Monday to protest insecurity in the districts of Jaghori, Malistan and Khas Uruzgan.
The protest forced authorities to block several roads in central part of the city.
The protesters accused the government of indifference over Taliban offensives in the mentioned districts as they warned that the districts were on the verge of collapse.
They warned that they would continue to their protest until the government sends reinforcement to back up local forces.
They also demanded humanitarian assistance for people who were displaced due to the fighting and establishment of an army corps that would cover the mentioned districts.

The offensives in Jaghori, Malistan and Khas Uruzgan have killed dozens of people including government forces.
On Sunday, 25 people including 15 civilians and 10 commandos were killed in Jaghori district.
