President Ashraf Ghani on Saturday said improving the security situation in southern Ghazni province was his government’s priority and people’s concerns in this regard would be responded.
AVA- A statement from the Presidential Palace to media said that the president chaired a meeting as the commander in chief in his office this morning.
The meeting discussed the closure of roads in Seyah Gard district of central Parwan province and the procedure for implementing the president’s directives he issued during his recent trips to Ghazni province.
The statement said the meeting decided to send a delegation to Seyah Gard district of Parwan to discuss the road closure problem in the district with local people and submit its report to the Presidential Palace.
Later, the meeting discussed the president’s recent trip to Ghazni province and security and defense organs were ordered to present their strategies and plans for implementing the president’s directions.
President Ghani insisted that improving the security situation in Ghazni was the government’s priority and said local people’s concerns should be responded to.
