Afghanistan vs Bangladesh, A Battle to Stay Alive

Afghan Voice Agency(AVA) , 23 Sep 2018 - 11:00

Afghanistan’s National Cricket Team will play against Bangladesh in the Asia Cup on Sunday afternoon and will fight to stay alive after losing to Pakistan by three wickets on Friday.

Afghanistan lost its recent match to Pakistan in a tight and close.
Bangladesh on the other hand were trounced by 7 wickets by India in their first Super Four encounter. Poor scheduling, injuries and form has all gone against them.
Afghanistan have not got their combination wrong, but their seamers seemed ineffective for a large part during their defence of 258 against Pakistan.
However, Afghanistan will face Bangladesh on Sunday 4pm Kabul time and the match will kick-off at Sheikh Zayed Stadium, Abu Dhabi.
Afghanistan just need to tighten up their pace bowling attack, but the reserves won't be tested in a do-or-die game like this.
