At least 52 armed oppositions were killed after they carried out massive attack on Afghan security forces’ checkpoints in Maidan-Wardak province.
AVA- First, Taliban militants by launching a massive attack succeeded to capture several security shells and martyred 10 Afghan security personnel including police chief of Daymerdad district, Maidan-Wardak province, but by reaching reinforcement troops and resistance of Afghan security forces Taliban militants sustained heavy losses.
Press office of Maidan-Wardak’s local government by releasing a statement issued that 52 anti-government militias were killed and 65 others were wounded during the attack
Sayed Yunus Hussaini police chief and 10 Afghan security forces were martyred during the attack, the statement added.
According to reports, about 400 Taliban fighters were participated in the attack.
Meanwhile, local officials in Maidan-Wardak province say, security situation is better in Daymerdad district and Afghan security forces are controlling the district.
