Twenty-one Afghan migrants were injured in a traffic incident in Turkey's eastern province of Agri, local media reported Tuesday.
The undocumented migrants were travelling in a minibus which rolled over into a ditch in Diyadin district, Turkey’s state-run Anadolu Agency reported.
The injured were transferred to a state hospital in the district. 17 of them were later discharged from hospital after receiving medical care while four others were taken to another hospital in the province.
According to the report, they were not in life-threatening condition.
The minibus driver fled after the incident and security forces launched an operation to nab him.
