Afghan local officials have confirmed that the Dasht-e Qala district of Takhar province collapsed to Taliban.

Officials declared that at least ten uprising forces were captured, five security forces were killed and four others were wounded in Taliban’s attack on the district.
They complained over the lack of assistance forces and noted that the group has burned down the government facilities in the district.
