The Taliban group in Afghanistan has rejected the involvement of the group in today’s deadly explosion in Kabul city.
AVA- Taliban spokesman Zabiullah Mujahid in a statement said the Taliban group has no link with today’s explosion in capital Kabul.
No individual or group has so far claimed responsibility behind the attack so far but the ISIS militants have also claimed responsibility behind some attacks in the capital in the past.
At least six people were killed after an explosion ripped through a compound established for the issuance of the national identity cards in Kabul city earlier today.
The Ministry of Public Health officials are saying that the dead bodies of at least six people have been brought to the hospitals so far.
The officials further added that the blast has also left at least 23 people wounded.
Eyewitnesses are saying that the blast has taken place close to a school where a center was opened to issue national identity cards.
The incident takes place as the security situation in the capital had improved during the recent weeks.
The anti-government armed militant groups have been attempting to carry out deadly attacks in the key cities and provinces of the country including capital Kabul during the recent months.
