A man committed suicide after gunning downed four women members of his in-law’s family -- in northern Baghlan province on Monday, an official said.

AVA- Police spokesman Zabihullah Shuja told Pajhwok Afghan News the incident happened in the Iqamatgah locality of Pul-i-Khumri, the provincial capital, early Monday morning.
He said the motive behind the killings was yet to be ascertained, but security forces had launched investigations into the incident.
However, Civil Hospital Director Naramgo confirmed receiving two dead bodies from the scene.The victim family has not commented yet on the incident so far.
