Two foreign militants of the ISIS terrorist group have been killed after Afghan warplanes targeted the hardliner group's hideout in northern Jawzjan province, deputy to provincial police chief Abdul Hafiz Khashi said Sunday.
"Acting upon intelligence report, the warplanes struck ISIS hideout in Darzab district on Saturday afternoon, killing two foreign rebels of the outfit," Khashi told media.
Three more foreign fighters have been arrested, the official said.
However, he declined to identify the nationalities of the foreign fighters.
The ISIS group has yet to make comments on the report.
