The Afghan government has approved in principle the security plan for Kabul city as efforts are underway for the betterment of the security of the capital.
AVA-The Office of the President, ARG Palace, said the security plan was during the meeting of the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces chaired by President Mohammad Ashraf Ghani.
According to a statement by ARG Palace, the security officials presented their reports regarding the security developments across the country.
The high level security officials also presented their plan for the security of Kabul said, ARG Palace said, adding that coordination, solidarity, intelligence, bolstering the capabilities of the security forces as well the proper allocation of the forces in the key parts of the city and implementation of the required reforms are included in the security plan.
The participants of the meeting had in-depth discussions regarding the security plan and approved the plan in principles, the statement added.
According to ARG Palace, the high level security officials were also instructed to take practical steps for the implementation of the security as per the schedule and present a report to the public within the next ten days.
President Ghani hailed the Afghan security forces for their activities and issued further instructions to counter the plans of the enemies and ensure better security across the country.
