Pakistan on Saturday offered Afghanistan a joint investigation into recent terrorist attacks in Kabul, the Foreign Office (FO) spokesman said.

AVA- Foreign Secretary Tehmina Janjua held out the offer at the first meeting of five joint working groups in Afghanistan’s capital, the spokesman tweeted.

Dr Mohammad Faisal said the visiting delegation urged Afghanistan to avoid of indulging in blame game and engage in concrete cooperation with its neighbour.

Janjua condemned the recent attacks. "Pakistan also urged the Afghan government to crack down on anti-Pakistan terrorists on its soil.

Earlier, Foreign Secretary Tehmina Janjua, a Pakistani delegation arrived to Kabul to attend the maiden meeting of a joint working group on security cooperation.

On Friday, President Ashraf Ghani accused Pakistan of failing to take decisive action against the Taliban on its soil. The president denounced Pakistan as a Taliban centre.
