An Iranian national has been detained for trafficking 68 kilograms of crystal meth in a trailer vehicle near the border with Iran in western Farah province, police said on Friday.

 An Iranian national has been detained for trafficking 68 kilograms of crystal meth in a trailer vehicle near the border with Iran in western Farah province, police said on Friday.

The Iranian, a resident of northeastern Mashhad city, had skillfully hidden the drug, popularly known as ice, in his trailer which was confiscated at the Sheik Abu Nasar Farahi dry port, Farah police chief Brig. Fazl Ahmad Sherzad said.

He told Pajhwok Afghan News the drug was seized during a joint operation of border and counternarcotics police on Thursday.
