Violence broke out at a protest over insecurity in Afghanistan's western city of Farah on Wednesday.
Shots were heard during the protest which involved protesters moving toward the governor's office. The protesters demand ouster of the governor and other officials.
At least seven people were injured in the violence, security sources told .
They were taken to hospital.
