The local officials in the northern Sar-e-Pul province say that a woman was shot dead by the Taliban militants over her family’s abiding the government.
AVA- However another local official in Sayad district of the province describe the main motive of the murder case as disputes between families and further notes that the murder has been carried out under the name of the Taliban.
According to Zabihullah Amani, spokesman of Sar-e-Pul governor, Jamila aged 38 was shot dead over the night by the Taliban while had left Sar-e-Pul to participate a mourning ceremony of her relatives in Sayyad district.
“Jamila’s Husband and brother in law were both commanders of local police forces who had been killed in the battles with the armed opposition groups around 3 years ago,” added Mr. Amani.
Meanwhile, Taj Mohammad Khurasani, a member of Sar-e-Pul Youth Parliament, stresses on bringing the perpetrators to justice and said that the Taliban had also shot dead a 25 years old woman for spying to the government few days ago.
