A military base of Afghan security forces collapsed by the armed oppositions of the government in Bala Bolok district of Farah province late on Monday night, the local officials said.
AVA- Farah security commander said at least five Afghan soldiers were killed and six of them were wounded in Taliban’s attack on a military base and the armed group has taken all the equipment of the base.
However, a source on condition of anonymity told Ariananews that at least 16 Afghan soldiers were killed in the incident.
In the meantime, the NATO airstrikes killed at least 15 Taliban militants after they attacked on some areas of the central Farah province.
Farah security commander further added that at least 24 Taliban insurgents were killed in a separate NATO airstrike in Khak-e Safid district of the province.
