At least four people including two Pakistanis have been arrested on charges of supplying weapons and ammunition to the anti-government armed militant groups in eastern Nangarhar province of Afghanistan.

At least four people including two Pakistanis have been arrested on charges of supplying weapons and ammunition to the anti-government armed militant groups in eastern Nangarhar province of Afghanistan.
AVA-The provincial government in a statement said the men were arrested during an operation from Momand Dara district.
The statement further added that the suspects had placed eight rounds of rocket launcher missiles in a vehicle and were attempting to transport them to the militants.
Two of the detained insurgents have confessed that they belong to Khyber Pakhtunkhwa of Pakistan while the two others are residents of Momand Dara district, the statement said.
The provincial government also added that the detained individuals have also confessed that they were attempting to transport the weapons to the insurgent groups.
It is yet not clear to which group of insurgents the men were attempting to transport the rockets to.
However, Nangarhar is home to several Taliban insurgents as well as the loyalists of the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS) terrorist groups.
The suspects have been arrested amid ongoing air and ground operations involving both the Afghan and US forces to eliminate the terrorists from the area.
