The prime minister of Denmark says his country is ready to provide technical support to Afghanistan’s energy management.
AVA- Danish Prime Minister Lars Løkke Rasmussen signalled the willingness at a meeting with President Ashraf Ghani on the margins of the 72nd UN General Assembly.
A statement from the Presidential Palace in Kabul said on Wednesday the two sides exchanged views on the stability of regional countries, economic cooperation.
Ghani said Afghanistan had enough capacity to transfer and produce energy. He added Afghanistan needed to benefit from Denmark’s experience in energy management.
Lars Løkke Rasmussen replied his country was ready to support Afghanistan in the energy sector. Ghani invited Rasmussen to visit Afghanistan at a proper time.
The Danish prime minister, evincing an interest in visiting Kabul, said he would like to discuss important issues with the Afghan leaders in detail.
