General Command of Police Special Units set free 11 hostages from Taliban militant's custody overnight.
Afghan Voice Agency(AVA), Those released included five civilians and six Afghan National Security officers.
The operation took place in Naqal Abad village, Nad Ali district of southern Helmand province.
In the meantime, 10 armed Taliban killed after an airstrike targeted a Taliban hideout in Waghiz district of Ghazni province.
