Afghan Voice Agency(AVA), 13 armed Taliban including a Taliban shadow district governor were killed and 18 other armed Taliban including a senior commander of armed Taliban were wounded following a military operation.

The operation was carried out jointly by Afghan National Police and Afghan National Army in the Aaq Abdal village, Pashton Kot district of Faryab province.

In a separate report, Qari Shah Mohammad Taliban shadow district governor for Khan Char Bagh district was shot dead by Afghan National Police in Khowaja Qadoq village, Khan Char Bagh district of Faryab province
