Official: No Foreign Help to Afghanistan’s Production, Export Sectors in Past 12 Years

Afghanistan officially the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan is a landlocked sovereign state forming part of Central Asia, South Asia and to some extent Western Asia. It has a population of around 30 million inhabiting an area of approximately 652000 square kilometers making it the 42nd most populous and 41st largest nation in the world.

A senior Afghan trade official underlined that his country has not received any assistance from foreign countries in its production and export sectors in the last 12 years.

“The foreigners have not helped Afghanistan’s export and production sectors in the last 12 years,” Deputy Head of Afghanistan Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ACCI) Khan Jan Alakozay told FNA on Wednesday.

Slamming the foreign powers which invaded the country and remained there since 2001, he complained that had the foreign countries helped Afghanistan in its production and export sectors, the Muslim country’s exports would have attained an acceptable level of growth by now.
