Some Western experts have proposed to send them to construction battalions in order them to built roads and other facilities," Tokon Mamytov said

“We have to assist Afghanistan in training of military and law enforcement personnel,” Vice Prime Minister of Kyrgyzstan for Security Issues Tokon Mamytov said today at “Afghanistan and Central Asia in 2014: role of CSTO in providing regional security” round table discussion.

He noted that we have to help the Afghan people but not to interfere. "We have to help the Afghan people to get out of the current situation. First, we have to assist in holding of presidential elections in Afghanistan, and secondly, to help in the elimination of drug flows.

The country has an acute nationalist situation. There is a division on the Pashtuns, the Taliban and so on. The current economic situation in Afghanistan is poor. We have to help the country with preparation of military and law enforcement personnel.

It is known that after the withdrawal of coalition troops a number of military personnel will be reduced. Some Western experts have proposed to send them to construction battalions in order them to built roads and other facilities," Tokon Mamytov said
