Russia has expressed indignation and concern over insurgents’ attack on the International Committee of the Red Cross in Afghanistan, the Foreign Ministry said on Thursday.

“On May 29 a group of insurgents attacked the office of the International Committee of the Red Cross in the eastern Afghan city of Jalalabad, killing and injuring several people,” the ministry said. “There are reports saying that a mission chief was injured.”
