Afghans are hope full that the participants in Istanbul conference be able to pave the way for holding a conference with the participation of great Ulema from the countries of the region.

The third international Islamic cooperation conference on tomorrow peaceful Afghanistan was opened in Istanbul city of Turkey yesterday.

Afghan delegation headed by Hajj minister Yusuf Niazi and composed of Mubariz Rashidi the deputy to ministry of Information and Culture, some lawmakers, members of High Peace Council and religious council attended the conference.

The government of Afghanistan has been calling on the heads of Islamic countries particularly the Khadim of Haramin Sharifain to play their due role in bringing about peace and stability in Afghanistan.

The prime wish of Afghans is to see durable peace in their country and that was why a delegation of Afghanistan nationwide council visited Pakistan recently to a pave the ground for holding joint conference of the Ulema or religious scholars of both the countries but unfortunately the unlawful fatwa or religious decree issued by chief of Pakistani clerics council in which he endorsed suicide attack in Afghanistan, Kashmir and Jerusalem has annulled all the peace efforts.

However, the Afghans are hope full that the participants in Istanbul conference be able to pave the way for holding a conference with the participation of great Ulema from the countries of the region.
