Asia Cooperation Dialogue, the chance for efficient talks

Being the member of one of the most important Asian assemblies can pave the way for Afghanistan to strengthen its regional and international cooperation.

Kabul, (AVA)- After taking part in Economic Cooperation Organization (ECO) meeting in Azerbaijan, president Karzai left for Kuwait to participate in Asia Cooperation Dialogue session yesterday.

President Karzai appreciated the Kuwait Emir and all the ACD members for accepting the Afghanistan as the member of the assembly.

The assembly was established by Thailand government in 2002 named Cooperation in Asia to unify the biggest continent.

Calling establishing an aid fund in assembly as big step toward development, the president thanked Kuwait for pledging the fund with $300 billions.

Establishing the aid fund was suggested to help the undeveloped countries so the assembly members should cooperate with fund.

Karzai said unity and effort are the solely ways to accomplish the assembly goals.

The Afghanistan president said the Afghan government respects to the assembly fundamental principles such as optimism, presenting services voluntarily and friendly relationships.

Asia Cooperation Dialogue assembly can unify the Asian countries which are considered as a great chance for Afghanistan to share its challenges such peace and security and strengthen peaceful coexistence among cultures and nations, he said. 

Being the member of one of the most important Asian assemblies can pave the way for Afghanistan to strengthen its regional and international cooperation, Karzai concluded.
