First still mill inaugurated in Herat

According to the investors, the factory can produce 80 tons of still per day and present the job opportunities for 200 ones.

Kabul, (AVA)- The biggest still mill in the western of Afghanistan with the budget of $8 millions inaugurated in manufacturing town of Herat. 

The inauguration was coincidence with the minister of economiy, Abdul Hadi Arghandiwal and the minister of industrial, Anwar Al Hagh Ahadi travel to Herat.

According to the investors, the factory can produce 80 tons of still per day and present the job opportunities for 200 ones.

The Kabul still mill manager, Ismatullah Wardak said the Herat still mill constructed with the help of governmental and Herat local officials. 

The Herat still mill investors intend to increase the benefits by $24 millions in for years according to the world factors.

Calling the still mill as a sign of a firm decision for progressing, the Herat governor, Dr. Dawod Shah Saba said inauguration of the still mill in Herat disappointed those tried to stop Afghanistan progressing.

Pointing to the lack of energies in Herat, he demanded the ministry of economic and commerce to allocate budget on this project implementation.

The Afghanistan minister of commerce said we will support the Herat still mill if it meets some of the Afghanistan needs.

Ahadi said if the Herat mill meets the Afghanistan needs, the government will stop the imports of foreign productions.

The minister of economiy underscored on creating job opportunities and the agricultural extension.

The economical experts called the Herat still mill as a success in implementation of development plans in this province.

According to the experts, Afghanistan economical development, creating job opportunities, eradicating the instabilities and insecurity are the advantages of implementing such projects.
