Defense and interior ministers failed to gain confidence vote

Karzai tomorrow after the National Security session discusses the ministers dismiss.

MPS gave no-confidence vote to defense and interior ministers on Saturday after the ministers failed convincing the parliament over cross-border shelling by Pakistan and growing violence in the country.

Afghan Interior Bismillah Mohammadi was deprived from his position after he received 126 negative votes and 90 positive votes during an opening voting in the Afghan parliament.

Meanwhile Afghan defense minister Abdul Rahim Wardak received 146 negative votes and 72 positive votes during the voting.

Afghan defense minister Abdul Rahim Wardak said if Afghanistan responds to cross-border shelling then there will be no difference between the militants and Afghan security forces since it is yet not cleared if the shelling was done by militants or Paksitani army.
He said diploamtic negotiations to end cross-border attacks are still continuing with the Paksitan officials.

However Afghan interior Bismillah Mohammadi said the missiles were fired by Pakistani army and Taliban militants after collecting the samples of the missiles remains.
The president palace by issuing a press release in accordance with the Afghanistan constitution gave the right of dismissing MPs to parliament.
