Unknown gunmen assassinate money exchanger in Baghlan

The gunmen managed to flee from the house of the victim after robbing his money. To detain killers search underway.

According to local security officials in northern Afghanistan, unknown gunmen murdered a money changer in northern Baghlan province early Wednesday morning KHAAMA reported.
Central Baghlan district police chief Gen. Kamin confirming the incident said, a resident of the Wardakha in central Baghlan district was shot and injured by unknown gunmen in his house around 2 am early Wednesday morning.
Gen. Kamin further added, the gunmen managed to flee from the house of the victim after robbing his money and no one has been arrested in connection to the crime so far.
He also said, Afghan security forces have started a search operation to detain those involved behind the incident.
According to reports, unstable condition has created tensions among the residents of northern Baghlan province as the criminal activities of irresponsible armed groups have increased across various regions of this province in the recent months.
