Suicide bomber targets NATO forces in Kunduz

"A suicide bomber driving explosive-laden car blew it up close to ISAF forces in Sedarak area at 07:20 a.m. local time and partially damaged an Armored Personnel Carrier," Deputy to Provincial Police chief Abdul Rahman Haqtash told Xinhua.
There were no casualties on the troops, he stressed.
He also added there are troops from Germany, Belgium and some other countries serving under NATO in Kunduz province.
Tommy Growves, spokesman with ISAF headquarters here, in talks with Xinhua confirmed the attack but asserted there were no casualties.
"There was a suicide attack on ISAF this morning in Kunduz, a vehicle was damaged but there is no ISAF casualty," the official told Xinhua.
This is the second time over the past two days that ISAF forces came under attack in Kunduz province.
Militants also opened fire on ISAF forces in Kunduz province on Sunday but caused no loss of life or damage.
Taliban militants have claimed responsibility for both of the attacks.
