Taliban Leader Bans Mediation in the Courts

The Taliban leader Mullah Haibatullah Akhund has told judges not to accept mediations in the courts.

Afghan Voice Agency (AVA)_The leader of the Taliban acting government Mullah has told judges not to accept mediations in the courts.

The Taliban leader Haibatullah Akhund delivered a speech in front of judges and staff of justice centers on (Friday, January 14), according to the Taliban state news agency.

“No one has the right to interfere in the justice affairs,” he said.

The Taliban leader has ordered the judges at the meeting: “Anyone who commits a crime must be punished.” On the other hand, he also spoke among the military and invited them to observe ethics and ideological issues.

Earlier, officials have repeatedly stressed that justice must be done in the courts and that the Taliban forces must treat the people well.
